This Privacy Notice explains how Teacher John ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal data when you use the website at myteacherjohn.com and book online English lessons (the "Service"). Teacher John is the data controller for the personal data described here.

Booking details: your name, email address, timezone, chosen lesson length and time, and any notes you provide.
Lesson history: records of past bookings, cancellations, and attendance.
Communications: emails you send us and support messages.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and basic usage/telemetry data collected automatically.

Payment card details are collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We do not receive or store your full card number.

2. How we use your data

To create and manage your bookings and to deliver the lesson.
To send confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices, and receipts.
To respond to support requests and improve the Service.
To prevent fraud and keep the Service secure.
To comply with our legal obligations, including tax and accounting.
